AUCTION

The St. Agnes School Auction is held annually in the Spring, and is our single biggest fundraiser. The dedication and hard work that goes into making this auction happen every year is extensive. This wonderful parent support is one of the reasons St. Agnes School is able to provide so well for our students. Thank you to our Auction parents.

AUCTION UPDATE AS OF MARCH 8th, 2010

REMINDER - FAMILY DONATIONS WERE DUE ON … Thursday, February 25, 2010
If you have inadvertently forgotten about your family donation that was due on Thursday, February 25, 2010, please send a check in the amount of $50 payable to St. Agnes PACE in care of Auction Chairs – Family Donation.  If we receive your check after the Auction, a $75 charge will automatically show up on your Tuition Statement.

DEADLINE TO RSVP FOR EVENT IS… March 19, 2010
The price will remain at $35 per ticket and will include a Casino Gaming Voucher.  Tables of 10 can be purchased for $350.  The deadline to purchase tickets for this event is March 19, 2010, and we will have a maximum capacity of 300 guests.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any reservations after this date!  There is the possibility this event could sell out, so please make sure you return your response cards in a timely manner.

UPDATED EVENT SCHEDULE…
5:30 p.m.                      Doors Open
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.            Silent Auction
7:45 – 9:00 p.m.            Seated Dinner and Live Auction
9:00 – 11:00 p.m.          Casino and Casino Prize Drawing
(approx. 10:45 p.m.)      (Casino Prize Drawing)                             
9:00 – Midnight              Dancing

HOW THE CASINO GAMING WORKS…
The Casino portion of the evening will begin directly after the Live Auction and will include Roulette, Craps, Black Jack and a possible Texas Hold’em Tournament.  At any time during the evening (except during the Live Auction) you can purchase additional gaming tokens (for trade with the casino dealers for gaming tokens) by using your Auction number.
At about 10:45 p.m., the gaming portion of the evening will end and you will trade in your tokens with any casino dealer for raffle tickets based on the amount of tokens you earned.  These tickets will be used as your chance to win at the Casino Raffle.  If you don’t want to play any of the casino games, but you still want a chance to win the great Casino prizes, feel free to go to any cashier and purchase tickets.

DINNER…
At 8:00 p.m. a seated dinner will be served by Scott’s Catering. 

VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS…
You should have received a call from the Volunteer committee reconfirming your Auction assignment.  If you have any questions regarding your Volunteer assignment, please contact Kristen Brandt at: yankeegirl23@comcast.net.  If you do not fulfill your assigned Volunteer requirement, you will be billed $40 per hour times 4 hours for a total of $160.

STILL NEED BASKETS…
We are in need of medium to large size baskets for the Auction.  If you have any baskets that you would like to part with, please send them into the office (we have enough of the small basket sizes!)

Please check the website for all updates, forms and the Auction Items that will be available for bidding.  We hope to have a copy of the Auction Program on the website a few days before the event.
