HOMEWORK
Homework should take about 15 minutes per evening, with an additional 15 minutes dedicated to reading. Practice sheets that are sent home as part of homework should be done over the course of the week. Unfinished work should be completed the night it is sent home and returned the next day.
The homework packet comes home daily, and serves as a communication folder, too. Please check it each night to check for any notes or unfinished work. Please put any notes, communication, etc. into the folder and the First Grade Assistant and I receive it the following morning.
READ to your child, please! Let's develop a desire.....a love......for reading in these kids. They are all so bright and eager to learn.....we need to seize the opportunity!
