FIRST COMMUNION
Second Grade is a year of growth and blessing. Throughout this year, students prepare for and receive the next two sacraments to help them in their faith journey.
In December, students meet our Forgiving Father in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. In May, they are welcomed to the Table of the Lord as they receive Jesus in Eucharist.

December 3, 2011 First Reconciliation Celebration - 10:00 am in the Church. This is a special day and the whole family is invited to attend this Celebration. Reception in church hall at conclusion of service. |
February 4, 2012 First Eucharist Mandatory Parent Meeting - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. This provides you, as the parent, time to reflect on the Sacrament of the Eucharist in your daily life. You will also receive information about making your child's banner and all the other details that go along with the Celebration. We will meet in Cauchi Hall. Banners due by April 6! |
April 28, 2012 Parent's & Student's First Eucharist Meeting - 9:30 to 12:30 pm. This is a day for children and parents to meet with the other families celebrating First Eucharist at their Mass. You will enjoy time together preparing and rehearsing for a wonderful celebration. This will be your only rehearsal day. Please sign in at the table in the church hall. |
May 5 and May 6, 2012 First Communion Mass - 5:00 pm, 9:00 am & 10:45 am. This is the Celebration you have been preparing for. Bring your family. You will have your own row - one row per First Communicant. |
