HOMEWORK
Homework for Second Grade changes daily. There is always a
Bookworm assignment which involves reading aloud with an adult for
15 minutes. The purpose of this reading is for enjoyment and to
improve fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
An additional assignment varies from day to day. Its purpose is to
support and reinforce lessons taught that day.
There is a weekly spelling test given each Friday.
