About our Technology Coordinator
I have been teaching for 20 years, but my original training was not in computers. I have a multi-subject credential and a graduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I taught English to adults for several years, and also taught ESL at Mt. Diablo High School.
My training in computers came on the job while I was in college. I worked with computers for several years professionally. When the ESL program was temporarily discontinued in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District, I took a job teaching computers at several schools in the district. Somehow, I never left computers to go back to the regular classroom.
I love teaching computers at St. Agnes because it really means I get to be involved in teaching all of the subjects, and I get to see all of the students. I am always taking classes to keep up with the ever changing technology, and to keep up with these techno-savvy students! They are truly amazing. I am very happy to be part of the St. Agnes School community.
