Book Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair is scheduled for Sunday January 31ST, right after the 9:00 mass until noon, then again daily from 8 am until 4 pm on Monday February 1st through Thursday, February 4th. Everyone at St. Agnes joins me in inviting you to this celebration of reading. Not only does this event raise money for our school, it encourages creativity, self-expression, and reading among our students.
Readers have larger vocabularies, a greater knowledge of the world, and higher academic achievement. In fact, being a reader is more predictive of success than intelligence, economic background, or gender.
Students will discover books that are fun, interesting, inspirational, and a resource in dealing with real-life experiences and emerging emotions.
Our Book Fair will be infused with a special energy and personality. We hope you will visit our Fair and help support our school.
A special Family Event will be held on Sunday during the School’s Open House. Come to browse, choose books for the whole family, and help build our classroom libraries by donating books selected by teachers through our Wish List program. Classroom Wish Lists give you an easy, immediate way to show your appreciation for our teachers.
