School Children’s Choir
Choir is offered to grades 2 through 8 as an extracurricular activity where our students may experience the joy of singing while being trained in the basics of breathing, vocal technique and the development of harmonic ear. Our children’s choir actively participates in most of the school liturgical events and usually performs a special number in the Christmas and spring pageants.
The choir meets every Tuesday from 3 to 3:45 PM in the music room. Sign-up forms are due on Friday, October 2 and our first practice will be on Tuesday, October 13.
Please note: Just as a parent/guardian’s written permission is required for a child to join the choir, a parent/guardian’s written note is also required if a child wishes to leave the choir during the school year. Once a child leaves the choir, they may not rejoin until the following school year. This policy helps us maintain a consistent and committed choir throughout the year.
